The company PIECOBUD was started in 1991. The company used to be a civil partnership with its seat situated at 42 Zglenickiego Street in Płock at that time.

In 1998 the company changed its seat and moved to a new-built building at 52c Zglenickiego Street.

In 2002 the legal status of the company was changed from a civil partnership to a general partnership.

2003 was the year of a yet another change in the legal status of the company. PIECOBUD general partnership was converted into PIECOBUD limited liability company (Sp. z o.o.).

The original capital of PIECOBUD Sp. z o.o. is in total 1,200,000 PLN, in which 500,000 PLN is in cash.
